What we do
Bit & Bearing brings the tool and the workflow into the same conversation.
A developing pilot with separate places for work orders, preventive maintenance, requests, and assets. Built for a phone-first view of the work.
Meet the current pilotWalk through how work arrives, how it gets recorded, and where the handoffs get unclear. Turn what happens on the floor into a practical starting point.
Discuss the language, screens, and workflow your property needs. Define the scope together, then test proposed changes against real tasks.
Bit & Bearing / Hotel maintenance
The current app brings maintenance records into four distinct areas. It is available for an owner-led demonstration while staff access and shared workflows are still being prepared.
A separate space for work order records and their details.
A dedicated area for preventive maintenance records.
Keep request records in their own area of the pilot.
A separate view of asset records for the property.
Also in the current pilot: photos, team contacts, invitation drafts, and phone-oriented navigation.
Current access: owner-only. Invitation drafts do not yet provide working staff phone sign-in.
Staff phone authentication, shared staff routing, SMS notifications, QR workflows, voice input, and PMS imports are not live.
Broader housekeeping and front-desk coordination is a future direction. This is a pilot, with production readiness still to be established.
A practical approach
The conversation starts with the property’s work, then moves to the tools.
Look at one request, one work order, or one preventive task from start to finish.
Identify where clearer records or a simpler handoff would help.
Review the pilot on a phone and use what you learn to shape the next change.
Let’s talk about the work
